Southfield Junior School

Southfield Junior School
About Us

Southfield County Junior School is a state school which serves Highworth and its outlaying villages. There will be approximately 228 children on roll in September 2007. The building was opened in 1898 and has had additions in 1953, 1969 and 2008. The main building has a large hall, eight classrooms, a library, computer suite, staff room and offices, a large entrance foyer and work bay giving us excellent facilities.

Southfield Junior School has a reputation for being a caring and friendly school where the work is varied and challenging and every child is valued. We believe that a child’s education should be based on a partnership between the home and the school. We want all parents to be fully involved in their child’s learning.

Southfield Junior School has a close relationship with parents and the local community. We hope this friendly co-operation continues for the mutual benefit of the town and our children.
